I have loved photography since I was a young gal! My parents had disposable film cameras around the house throughout my childhood, and my dad was always filming with some kind of Sony camcorder. It all brought me to where I am today. My sister was the first of our family to get a professional level camera, and I always enjoyed modeling for her. But I also loved using the camera for my own desires, like taking photos of the Puget Sound we got to live nearby.
Originally, I pursued a kinesiology degree with the goal of becoming a doctor. But along the way, I discovered my creative side, realizing that my true passion lay in telling stories through the lens of my camera.
Being able to capture the special moments of another humans life, whether it's celebrating love, new life, or capturing the events that make us human is such a blessing. Not only do I get to create art through my eyes and lens, but it's a piece of time that you will get to cherish forever.
